The Cranberry Thistle will entertain your taste buds and your ears with good food, good friends, and good times. Known by locals as “Jonesborough’s Favorite Gathering Place” they offer specialty coffees, frozen fruit drinks, pastries, pies, cakes, soups, sandwiches, beans and cornbread. Owners Nancy and Jo could not find a good cup of espresso in Jonesborough when they arrived here in 1999. So they decided to open a café that would provide fancy coffees and teas to the community. They remodeled an old candy store, and settled in – they love the people here and the people love them. Put together good business heads, some good cooks, a great cake maker and the warmest hearted folks you’ll ever meet - and you have a winning combination.
