This Federal Greco Style home offers 2 bedrooms with 2 private baths and a rich history. The Grand Room is available for receptions, reunions, birthdays, showers, and luncheons.

History of the Rhea-McKinley House

• House was completed in 1860 by Dr. Rhea of Jonesborough
• “Ruts" under home were used for young men to hide from the Confederate soldiers
• Dr. Hoss was the home’s second owner, known as Hoss Property
• Kitchen was located in the slave quarters connected to the home by tunnel
• House has had three owners prior to Mr. McKinley (all 3 were local doctors)
• The current owner, Braden McKinley, named the Proud Annie after two of his favorite horses
