Jonesborough Parks

Jonesborough parks may be few, but each has an abundance of recreational opportunities. Our parks are open dawn to dusk year round. Restrooms are available for public use in all parks but are closed November through March due to freezing conditions. Pets on leashes are allowed in all of the parks, except in the enclosed playground areas.

Persimmon Ridge Park

1523 Persimmon Ridge Road A 130 acre park that features a campground, biking and hiking trails, a portion of the Lost State Scenic Walkway, ball fields, playground for children of all ages, basketball court and a family friendly Water Park. A Disc Golf Course is in the planning stages and certain to be a popular feature in the near future.

Wetlands Water Park

1523 Persimmon Ridge RoadJonesborough’s own Water Park open Memorial Day through Labor Day offers fun for the whole family! Enjoy the water slides, lazy river, zero depth wading area, water bubblers and much more! Wetlands also offers a full service café and volleyball court. The Water Park is also available for birthday parties and private parties. Call 753-1553 or 753-1561 for more information.

Depot Street Park

400 Depot StreetOffers a volleyball court, basketball court, pavilion, restrooms and playground for children ages 5-12 years. The pavilion is available on a “first come, first serve” basis and can accommodate up to 40 individuals.

Storytelling Community Park

111 W. College StreetIncludes walking paths in a beautiful setting in downtown Jonesborough, located behind the International Storytelling Center. 

Mill Spring Park

111 Fox StreetIncludes a portion of the Lost State Scenic Walkway, restrooms (open year round) and a gazebo available for public use and rentals. Mill Spring Park also contains the Slemons House which holds the offices of the Northeast Tennessee Tourism Association.

Stage Road Park

188 Stage RoadJonesborough’s newest park, named after the street on which it is located. This three and a half acre park boasts a portion of the Lost State Scenic Walkway, basketball court, pavilion which accommodates 50 individuals, restrooms and playground for children ages 2-5 years.
